Our restaurant was named after colonel Johan Makár who lived in the region at the end of the 17th century. He was known for liberating the town from Turks in 1686. The hill above us has kept his name till today, it is called Makár-hill. Our restaurant consists of more sections, but its kitchen and staff are the same. We offer you characteristic of us popular meals of the local Hungarian and international cuisine. On our drinks list you can find in the first place the different types of the famous red wine of Villány wine-growing region, the beer-palette of Heineken, pure fruit juices and mineral water sought-after by the athletes.

Óbester Restaurant
Up to 150 persons. It was built in postmodern style with wooden cupola, today is equipped with air –condition and bar. International, Hungarian specialities spoil our guest’s palates. Each guest finds his personal taste world. Selected wines, outstanding drinks ensure a gastronomic experience. It is an ideal place for both: business lunch and candle light dinner. Up to 70 persons. The wine cellar was built in 1916, belonged to the bishopric. It offers historical atmosphere for social and familial events of any kind, seated under historic brick vault. On the lower storey are found the bowling courts. This amusement can be a nice finish of the day.
